Curriculum vitae
Born 21/09/1967 (42 years-old, married, one child)
1999 PhD in Experimental Psychology, University of Bologna
2001-2005 Assistant Professor, Faculty of Psychology, University of Bologna, Italy
Since 1-3-2005 INSERM Researcher (CR1) Unit 864 Espace et Action, Bron, France
Since 1-1-2006 AVENIR Team Director “Multisensory Space & Action”
Main research interests
My research focuses on the neural processes of multisensory interaction and their behavioural effects. Its clinical aim is to rehabilitate deficits of sensory perception and action control in neurological patients affected by neglect and extinction following cerebral stroke.
• Multisensory Perception and Action
• Multisensory Extinction & Neglect
• Body representations
• Tool-use & cerebral plasticity
• Self-other recognition
